Dr. Lucas W Kruse

Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Dr. Lucas Kruse is a second generation chiropractor. The Kruse family consists of five chiropractors practicing throughout the country.

Dr. Kruse spent eight years providing medical support for Marines and Sailors as an enlisted Navy hospital corpsman (medic). Upon his return home from Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom Dr. Kruse attended New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Kruse has four amazing children, Aden, Ella Dee, Remy and Dagny. The family is constantly on the move staying active with sports, walking, golfing, and fishing. They are always interested in the various events throughout the community and love to experience all life has to offer together.

In addition to the curriculum at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Kruse has completed additional training for the vital treatment of his pediatric patients. He also is golf injury certified aiding in the prevention of injury as well as performance enhancement.

Dr. Kruse hopes to continue his service to our country via working to add chiropractic options in the North Carolina VA hospital system. He is currently a member of the American Legion, Purple Heart Association, Morrisville and Durham Chambers of Commerce, American Chiropractic Association and the North Carolina Chiropractic Association where he holds a position on the Veterans Committee.

Dr. Dolphus Thacker

Dr. Dolphus Thacker was born in Carmel California where his father was stationed while serving in the United States Marine Corps. His family later returned to Graham N.C. where Dr. Thacker's parents were born and raised.

After seeking a degree in criminal justice from Appalachian State University Dr. Thacker enlisted as a third generation United States Marine and upon returning home joined the Army National Guard. While attending East Carolina University, he earned his certification as a paramedic and received a degree as a registered nurse. He worked in multiple disciplines of nursing including, Emergency, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal ICU, Medical ICU, and home health. During this time Dr. Thacker experienced the healing of chiropractic and the benefits of its effects on the nervous system. After this amazing experience Dr. Thacker knew he wanted to become a chiropractor.

Dr. Thacker completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he received numerous clinical awards. He also received certification in and still practices traditional and auricular (ear) acupuncture. After graduating, Dr. Thacker returned to North Carolina, where he has been practicing for the past several years and now resides with his family in Durham.

Dr. Thacker met and married his amazing wife Michelle while at East Carolina University. They have four extraordinary children Paley, Macgregor, Silas and Oisin. His family is active in the community with church, sports, homeschooling, wildlife conservation, homesteading, and gardening, as well as other various community activities.
